Planetarium shows start promptly at show time.
Out of consideration to those around you and for copyright purposes, no photography, video or audio recording is allowed in the Planetarium during shows. Please silence your cell phone during the program.
The planetarium is a dark environment with occasional loud sounds during a show. It is NOT recommended for children under 4 or those who may become upset in such conditions.
For your safety, if you leave the theater at show time or after, you will NOT be allowed to return. Your eyes will not adjust quickly enough to the change in lighting between the lobby and theater if you try to return during a show or after a show has already begun. Because of these conditions, and due to the show being presented overhead, you can easily become disoriented, loose your balance, and fall to the ground seriously injuring yourself.
Mueller Planetarium is located at 14th & "U" Streets in the University of Nebraska State Museum (Morrill Hall) on the University of Nebraska - Lincoln City Campus. Morrill Hall is the building with the statue of a life-sized bronze mammoth in front; near Memorial Stadium.
